This PWF series MicroZ system with a 5 - 9 GPM peak service flow rate are designed for residential and light industrial use applications. Watts MicroZ systems for sediment removal use our high performance MicroZ filter media to provide increased loading capacities and higher service flow rates. MicroZ's unique external surface offers increased porosity to out perform san filters by reducing water consumption. A MicroZ filter bed holds 2.8 times the amount of solids a sand bed holds, reducing backwashing requirements by almost three times. This unit uses components that are NSF 61 listed. The state-of-the-art computer programming increases efficiency for backwashing to clean media bed and saves water. The PWF series control valve is manufactured from high-tech materials, the PWF Series valve has been engineered and tested to perform in the most demanding environments. It has built a reputation of being one of the most reliable valve platforms in the industry. All surfaces contacted by water are made form 100 percent polymer components so that corrosion from acidic water and brine are no longer a concern.
